Stunning walks through beautiful, ancient bluebell woods

Surely one of the greatest spectacles of the English countryside is the sight and scent of a bluebell wood in full bloom. When that wood has a heritage dating back to the ancient Needwood Forest with oaks that may well have seen wolves and wild boar beneath their branches, the experience can be as humbling as it is magical.

We are now CLOSED for 2014 bluebell walks

This spring the bluebells put on their best display with masses of flowers which were such a stunning, deep violet blue.

Thank you to all our visitors, old and new. We are always so grateful that you keep the woods and walks totally free of litter and look after this lovely little part of Staffordshire.

We wish you all a sunny, happy summer.
